Insurance on a car lease?

My insurance guy gave me below basic coverage on a lease which requires something like 100,000/300,000/100,000 but he did basic full coverage(something cheaper like 10/20/10) In the contract it states i must have 100/300/100 as the requirement but the insurance guy who does insurance for a lot of people says lower coverage should work. I just added it on and it's fine, so the insurance (progressive) sent me a letter saying I have to pay extra for adding a 3rd vehicle but nothing about the coverage amount. Some fellow students and I are attempting to start up a laundry service at our school. We are looking to purchase a van so we can pick up and deliver the laundry to our customers. The van will only be used about 8 months out of the year and daily mileage will be fairly low because our campus small.

How does car insurance work?

im sure this is a really dumb question, but dont know the first thing about car insurance. I'll be 19 next month & i'm going to get my license before this month is over. I've had my permit for almost 2 yrs now & just been waiting to get money saved up for a car & insurance. I'd like an SUV but i've heard that it costs more to have insurance on an SUV? is this true? Are there any specific cars that are better [meaning less expensive] to get insurance on?

Can you recommend any books for 15-yr old girl?

I've only read a few books. I don't really have a favorite genre, but I like the kind where it keeps you on edge, or its so good, you can't put it down. Books I read for school are boring, like To Kill A Mockingbird, there was another one where this family got insurance money and they were fighting over it. i really don't like those kind. So can you recommend anything that I would like? I'm trying to find a genre I like, but so far, no luck. I've read books like the da vinci code, stonehenge, american chillers(when i was in elementary school, now in high school), a child called it, night, and acceleration.

Car Insurance need advice?

I have one car with 24 years no claims and am going to be the policy holder for my sons car. Can i put down that i have 24 years no claims or do i have to start again (in the sense put 0 down??)Im quite confused by the process as i haven't had to do this before, also it is very difficult for him to afford insurance if we don't do it this way so if anyone knows of any good cheap insurance companies

I went to the mall to shop for an hour or so and came out to my car to find someone had crashed into the rear end of my car and left without leaving any info. I made a police report but im still waiting to report it to my agent/company. will i be covered at all? i estimate the damage at $1500 I have comprehensive and unisured driver insurance, but no collision insurance i live in California

Car Accident - Auto insurance Question?

Today I was involved in a horrible collision. Car made a complete stop put hazard lights on, I made a complete stop at a reasonable distance however 15 seconds after I stopped I look at the mirror and a taxi van cab slams right into me my car goes flying forward hits the truck infront of me and bounces back, air bag goes off . Long story short I'm in horrible pain and have evident bruises . Police arrived filled out reports. The man that hit me was found at fault for both collisions. So my major concern is : I called my insurance company , made the claim they took down all the info but at the end of the conversation she told me that if I don't have full coverage I'm out of luck then she asked me if I do which I don't remember . So I'm taking a look at my policy contract and I don't see anywhere where it says full coverage ... I think it is full coverage since my car was being financed. All it basically says on the contract is liability limit $ 1 000, 000 So if they write off my car what happens next?

I am currently a full time student and I am trying to find Car insurance that won't cost me an arm and a leg. The cheapest quote i have gotten is 2052 (full license) yet im certain i could get it cheaper... I am looking to get a Citroen Saxo, 3 door, as they are meant to be a good first car and cheaper insurance, yet i don't call that cheap! Direct line has put their prices for young drivers up to a minimum of 3000 and the car is only worth 850!
